Sony To Shrink Smartphone, TV Lineup To Cut Costs
Lately Sony has been releasing better devices than ever before, but unfortunately that hasn’t meant profit for the company. Now according to Reuters, Sony is planning to cut costs by slashing the amount of smartphones and TVs they produce.
“We’re not aiming for size or market share, but better profits” said Hiroki Totoki, Sony’s new chief of their mobile division. Sony is not planning cut down on their PlayStation division however as it is one of the most profitable parts of the company.
