ASUS had their conference at CES 2015 this afternoon and got the ball rolling right off the bat. They started off by immediately unveiling a completely new line of detachable notebooks called the Chi line. Their selling point is that they are super thin and super powerful without sacrificing battery life.
This new Chi line of notebooks includes three devices, the T300, T100 and T90. The T300 is the most powerful of the bunch, its specs are as follows.
- 12.5-inch 1920 x 1080 full HD display or 2560 x 1440 WQHD display
- HD camera
- Next Gen Intel Core Processor
- Windows 8.1 Pro
- 8 hour battery life
The T100 and T90 specs respectively get lower but at the same time offer better battery life. All of the Chi models will offer a very quite performance according to ASUS, despite their very thin size. All of the Chi models will also feature solid state drives as well as USB 3.0 connectivity.
ASUS has also announced that the Chi line of notebooks will have a few accessories to choose from as well. More specifically, a pen stylus, spare rechargeable battery, and a magnetic screen cover.
As for pricing, the Transformer Book T300 Chi will cost you $799, the T100 will cost you $399 and last but not least, the T90 will cost you $299.
