Phones have become a part of our daily lives. Whether that’s keeping events organized, taking pictures, or communicating with friends. There’s no denying we can’t go without our phones. So what about the iPhone? The iPhone 6 is Apple’s latest offering in the tech space, but is it worth buying?

The iPhone lineup has almost always been the best option when it comes to the hardware with a premium metal build and pretty great design. The iPhone 6 doesn’t change this at all. This iPhone brings a fresh new design to the iPhone which many have been wanting for years. The phone feels great in the hand and looks amazing as well. However you might want to invest in a case as this is one of the most slippery phones I’ve ever used.
The phone is also very thin and light. It’s almost shockingly thin and light, but that’s not at all a bad thing.
The iPhone 6 is available in three colors options, Space Grey, Silver, and Gold. All three colors look great on the aluminum body.
The display on the iPhone 6 changed the game. After years of sticking with small displays, Apple gave in to what their customers wanted and gave us a much larger 4.7″ inch display. As with all previous iPhone displays, this one is top notch. The resolution has even been bumped up to 1334×750 which is still behind many other phones, but it’s not a bad thing. This display is still one of the best out there.
The iPhone 6 rocks the latest and greatest version of iOS, iOS 8. iOS 8 brings dozens of new features and they of course all work great on Apple’s own hardware. Everything is smooth and easy to use as usual. iOS 8 even does a pretty good job of meeting with the large 4.7″ inch display and still looks just as good as it does on the smaller screens.
The iPhone has always been known for having a reliable camera. Never the highest resolution or the most featured, but for having a camera that just works. This time around the camera is the best it’s ever been. While we’re still stuck at 8MP, I cannot complain about this camera. It’s just amazing and I absolutely love it. Below are a few shots taken with the iPhone 6.
One area the iPhone has always suffered is in it’s battery life. Well, that’s simply not true anymore. Apple has finally given me an iPhone that gets me through the day without desperately trying to find a charger. It’s still not the best battery life, but it’s exactly what I needed.
The iPhone 6 might not have the beefiest specs. At one time, I thought this was an issue. I believed that every phone should have the best specs available, but after the iPhone 6, I’m fine without that. I don’t need a 2K display or a 16MP camera. The things I’ve needed my iPhone to do it has done very well. At the end of the day don’t we all just want things that work?
If there was one thing I could change, I don’t think that a 16GB iPhone should exist. Not in 2015.
Is this the iPhone for you? Well only you can make that choice. In my opinion the iPhone 6 is the best iPhone that Apple has ever created and I stand behind that statement.
