Microsoft Office For Android Tablets Is Finally In Open Preview

Back in November, Microsoft created a beta for Microsoft Office on Android tablets but there was a huge downside, it was a closed beta. Well today, Microsoft has changed that by finally allowing everybody who wants to try it out be able to do so. That’s right, anybody with an Android tablet is now able to head over to the Google Play Store and download Microsoft Office starting today.

The Microsoft Office apps you will have to choose from include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. This open preview of the apps is compatible with all Android tablets that are between 7-inches and 10.1-inches. Despite this, it probably won’t be long before Microsoft opens the Office apps to Android tablets of any size.

We took a second to put Word on a tablet and it worked pretty well, we can definitely see how this would be useful for anybody on the go with an Android tablet. Drop us a comment and let us know what you think of the Microsoft Office apps for Android tablets.
