Samsung has been thoroughly improving the quality of their devices and the Galaxy S6 is expected to be a massive step forward for the company. We’re all expecting the device to land around MWC with plenty of new features and changes in tow. Now we have two reports of changes Samsung is making to the hardware on the Galaxy S6.
We’re all expecting Samsung to bring a metal build to the S6 and that’s probably what’s going to happen. A new report from DDaily cites sources that are claiming that Samsung will be bring a metallic and glass design to the S6. Glass will be found on the front and the back with a metal rim in between. This design is familiar from devices such as the iPhone 4 and Sony’s Xperia phones.
A second report states that Samsung is planning to make a massive improvement to the fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy S6. On devices like the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4, the fingerprint sensor requires the user to swipe their finger across the sensor. Other implementations such as Touch ID on the iPhone only require a touch. Now it looks like Samsung is aiming for that same implementation in the Galaxy S6.
So far, the Galaxy S6 looks like a pretty promising smash for Samsung. Are you excited for it? Let us know in the comments!
