March 1st is right around the corner and Samsung has a lot in store for their new Galaxy S6. Several images of the phone have been posted on XDA from a user who hasn’t confirmed who he works for, but does seem to have his hands on an AT&T demo unit.
The first set of images show the phone in bubble wrap concealing a lot, but the leaker also posted a handful of non-wrapped images. The images show off a Galaxy S6 with metal around the edges, thin bezels along the sides, and what is claimed to be a glass back. The metal edges aren’t sharp like on the Galaxy Note 4, but look nearly identical to that of the iPhone 6.
Images around the top, bottom, and sides reveal that we’ll still have an IR port, still microUSB, downward facing speakers, and no microSD card slot. While that might not be true, it sure doesn’t look like we’ll have any option for extra storage. We’re sure a lot of you will be complaining on that one, but to make matters worse, it looks like the S6 is going to have a sealed battery.
The Galaxy S6 certainly looks the part, but is Samsung going to please anyone with this device? Let us know in the comments if you like what you see and stay tuned as the announcement isn’t far away!
