When the YotaPhone 2 was first announced not too long ago there was question of whether or not it would actually go on sale in the US. Well that question has just been answered by YotaPhone’s very own Micheal Kelly. It turns out that the device will be available for purchase in the US through Indiegogo and will cost about $600.
For those of you who have never heard of or seen the YotaPhone 2, the device has one e-ink display and one LCD display. The e-ink display is located on the back of the device and is used for when the user is trying to conserve battery life. It’s a smart idea that has the possibility to take off and become a thing.
When the YotaPhone 2 does launch in the US, YotaPhone hopes that it will be running Android 5.0 Lollipop and will be available in two colors. Those two colors being black and white. After the initial launch in the US through Indigogo, YotaPhone has plans to make the YotaPhone 2 available at stores such as Best Buy.
