After just a few short months of being available, T-Mobile has pulled the Xperia Z3 from their smartphone lineup both online and in retail stores.
There’s no clear reason why the carrier did this, but there are two guesses as to what happened. First of all it could be because sales of the Xperia Z3 on T-Mobile have been somewhat lackluster since it’s release six months ago. It could also be because the release of the Xperia Z4 is imminent.
Sony made their first big moves into the US market thus year with the Xperia Z3 on T-Mobile and the Xperia Z3v on Verizon Wireless. This move by T-Mobile will definitely put a dent in that effort, so we’ll have to wait and hope that the next Sony flagship is available through T-Mobile and hopefully even more carriers.Source: T-Mobile (Twitter)
