After two great smartphones, expectations for the 2015 Moto X, the 3rd generation, are high. The phone is only a few months away and up until now we haven’t heard anything regarding it’s specifications. Recently a source inside Motorola leaked out what could be the specs we’ll seen on the upcoming phone.
The leaked specifications are as follows.
- 5.2″ Quad HD AMOLED Display
- Snapdragon 808 Processor
- 4GB RAM
- 16MP Rear Camera w/ Clear Pixel Technology
- 5MP Front Camera
- 32/64GB Internal Storage
- 3,280 mAh Battery
Now, those specs are reasonable for the next generation of the Moto X. Switching to a Quad HD display and upgrading the processor to the Snapdragon 808 is definitely an upgrade from the current generation. The improved rear camera should be a great upgrade and the added battery capacity should be an amazing addition. The only specification on this list that I’m skeptical about is the 4GB of RAM. It wouldn’t be the first phone to pack that amount of RAM, but I consider it an unlikely move for Motorola.
