At CES 2015 we saw many companies including the likes of Samsung, LG, and more showing off OLED displays. While all those displays were amazing in their own right, LG has just shown off a brand new display that trumps them all.
This new display is just 0.97mm thick and weighs in at just over 4 pounds. The panel is so thin and light, you can actually mount it to the wall simply with magnets and then peel it back off like wallpaper. The panel is far thinner than any other LG display (of the same size), but that is mainly due to the fact that the panel doesn’t have all the needed electronics to allow it to be a consumer television.
That said, LG’s new “wallpaper” display could have numerous uses in the commercial industry and show just how aspiring LG’s display division is getting.
What do you think about this new display prototype? If it were possible, would you use this in your home? Let us know down in the comments below!Via: The Verge
