LG’s G Pad series has been one forgotten by many consumers due to it’s budget aim, but now we’ve got another addition to the lineup coming exclusively to AT&T. The LG G Pad F (yes F) 8.0 is an AT&T exclusive tablet seperate from LG’s other lineup of tablets that is specced and priced for the budget market.
The LG G Pad F 8.0 features an 8″ inch 1600×900 “HD+” screen, an include stylus, and a full sized USB port. Full sized USB ports are not some thing we see on Android tablets very often but it will be a nice addition for anyone who plans to use this tablet on the go for typing out documents or emails. It can also be used for external storage through the use of flash drives.
A Snapdragon 400 processor can be found under the hood along with a 4200 mAh battery. We don’t know how much RAM will be included, but based on the price it’s likely that either 1GB of 1.5GB will be included. It appears that Android Lollipop is on board the device but that is not in AT&T’s press release.
The LG G Pad F 8.0 will be available through AT&T starting on May 29th for $149 on a two year contract or $12.50 a month on an interest free installment plan. After 20 months that comes out to $250.Source: AT&T
