The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are without a doubt two of Samsung’s most impressive phones ever. However in classic Samsung fashion, one variant isn’t all we’ll be seeing. We’ve been seeing leaks for months now of a new Galaxy S6 Active meant for the rugged crowd, but now we’re hearing of two other variants for those who prefer large or small smartphones.
First of all, let’s talk about the smaller model. This new Galaxy S6 variant would bring a 4.6″ inch display at 720p and would be powered by the Snapdragon 808 processor. It also looks like we’ll see 2GB of RAM included and a 15MP camera sensor. Now before we go too far with this leak, let’s keep in mind that information comes via a GFX benchmark which can be somewhat unreliable at times.
Aside from that, Samsung is also expected to release the Galaxy S6 Plus, a 5.5″ inch device based on the S6 Edge. The design is expected to be the same, but with a large display. The graphic at the top of this article show what the S6 Plus might looks like next to the stand S6 Edge. The device would not bring a stylus like the Galaxy Note lineup, but would bring a far larger battery than what is found inside the S6.
What do you think about these two new variants? Do either suit your needs? Will you pick one up? Let us know in the comments down below.
