Uncharted Collection Coming To PlayStation 4

The games market is filled with collections. Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper, Devil May Cry, Zone of the Enders just to name a few. Now with the transition to next-gen, it’s time to start seeing some remastered collections from the last generation. Well, announced today via the PlayStation blog was the inevitable collection for the Uncharted series.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be bringing the single-player campaigns from Drake’s Fortune, Among Thieves, and Drake’s Deception together for the PlayStation 4. All three campaigns will run in 1080p at 60fps with improvements in lighting, textures, and models. Additional improvements will include Photo Mode and new trophies for all three games, with more specifics to come.

LogoThe Nathan Drake Collection is being handled by Bluepoint Games, the same studio that handled the God of War, Metal Gear Solid, and Ico/Shadow of the Colossus Collections. It’s safe that this Collection is in good hands.

Those who decide to preorder Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection can get single-player skins for Nathan Drake, including the Golden AK-47 and Golden 92FS guns. If you preorder the digital version, you will also get an Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PS4 dynamic theme immediately.

Drake Skin Pack

Finally, those who buy the Uncharted Collection will get exclusive access to the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End when it’s available. Overall, the collection is an excellent way to get your fill of Uncharted on your PS4, and I’d probably pick it up (if I ever get a PS4).

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be released on October 7th in Europe and October 9th in North America for the PlayStation 4.
