It’s getting to that time of year where Motorola will unveil their latest collection of devices, most like the 2015 Moto X, new Moto 360, and the 2015 Moto G. We’ve been seeing leaks and rumors here and there about all of these device, but tonight we’ve gotten a new one on the 2015 Moto G.
Courtesy of TechnoBuffalo, press renders of the 2015 Moto G have hit the web. The images showcase the device in white revealing a few things about the hardware on this phone. First of all, it appears to have a metal frame just like last year’s Moto X however I don’t have too much faith in that considering the traditionally low price of this phone. It also appears to have a textured back rather than a soft touch plastic like previous iterations. Last but not least we have the camera with dual-tone flash and a metallic Motorola dimple running down the center of the device. The overall design language is very similar to Motorola’s past few devices, but slightly more refined.
The 2015 Moto G is rumored to pack similar specifications to last year including a 5″ inch 720p display, Snapdragon 410 processor and 1GB of RAM. One major change however would be the addition of a 13MP camera.
We’ll likely be seeing Motorola officially announce the 2015 Moto G alongside updates to the Moto X and Moto 360 in the next couple of months. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on the new design? Is it something you’re a fan of, or would you prefer it if Motorola changed things up a bit more? Let us know in the comments below!
