This Might Be Blackberry’s Android Smartphone

Even though @evleaks is “retired”, that hasn’t stopped the great Evan Blass from periodically giving us glimpses into the future of smartphones. Tonight he’s given us our first look at what might be the first Android device from Blackberry.

Rumors have been going around for a while regarding this device, and now we know a few details. First of all, the device will have the codename “Venice”. It will also be a slider phone running on top of Android, but it’s unknown which version. The navigation buttons however indicate Android 5.0 Lollipop. Lastly it seems this device will be headed to AT&T first off, which means it may end up being a exclusive.

The design of the device at the bottom shows a design very similar to that of the Blackberry Passport.

It’s unknown when we’ll see this device hit the market or when we’ll even see and official announcement. If/when it comes to market, is it something you’d buy? Let us know in the comments below!
