The TCL 3S M3G Brings Octa-Core Power, Android Lollipop, & Eyeprint Identification For Just $139

It never ceases to amaze me with what a Chinese made smartphone can include for their small prices. Most bring what we would consider plenty of power for just a fraction of the cost of the same specs here in the United States. But it doesn’t stop there. Most Chinese phones have something added in and the TCL 3S M3G is no exception.

Currently on pre-sale as Gearbest.com, the TCL 3S M3G brings a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor alongside 2GB of RAM and Android Lollipop. With that is also 16GB of storage (expandable via microSD), 4G LTE connectivity, and a 5″ inch 1080p IPS display. The device also has an 8MP front camera (f/2.2) along with a 13MP rear camera (f/2.2, Sony Exmor sensor). What really sets this phone apart however is the eyeprint identification abilities.

Using a special sensor on the front of the device, the TCL 3S M3G can be unlocked using your eye. We’re not exactly sure how well it works, but nonetheless, it looks like it should be pretty promising.

The TCL 3S M3G is unlocked for use worldwide, but I cannot stress enough that it is optimized for Chinese networks. It will work in the United States on AT&T and T-Mobile, but it will be constricted to 3G speeds. Below are the bands the device is compatible with so you can check out if it will work with your carrier.

  • 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
  • 3G: WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz
  • 4G: LTE 1800/2100/2600MHz

The TCL 3S M3G is available on presale from our friends at Gearbest.com where you can pick it up for just $139.99 in either black or white. Presale ends July 10th so be sure to order now to get the current price! You can get the TCL 3S M3G from Gearbest at the link below.
