The Moto G 2015 is right around the corner and we’ve been slowly seeing renders and details about the new phone coming out. Today we’ve got two new details about the 2015 Moto G. First of all, it might be available in MotoMaker. Second, there might be two different variants.
As far as MotoMaker is concerned, the Moto G 2015 seems to have the options to customize the color of the back plate, the camera/dimple strip, and the front bezel color. It’s similar to previous variants of MotoMaker customizations such as on the Moto X 2014 and the Moto 360. Previously the Moto G was not able to use MotoMaker, so it’s nice to see this addition to one of Motorola’s budget devices. This leak came courtesy of Evan Blass (@evleaks) so I’ve got a good feeling we’ll see this happen.
Another leak regarding the Moto G 2015 reveals that we might be seeing two different variants of the Moto G 2015. The first would be just like previous models, 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM. However a second model would have 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. Obviously this model would cost more, but I’m very glad to see Motorola offering the option to customers.
