Huawei Talkband B2 Review

Huawei Talkband B2 Review

Not every fitness band looks good. In fact when associated with fitness, leather and a gold color don’t come to mind. That didn’t stop Huawei with their design for the Talkband B2. The Talkband B2 comes in three colors: Grey, Black, and Gold. Which all look pretty good. With a leather strap, the fitness band brings a nice elegance into play. I had the opportunity to try this smartwatch out. Here’s my take on it.

What Can It Do?

The Talkband B2 allows you to track sleep, steps in a day, and also doubles as a bluetooth headset that disconnects from the wristband and stays in your ear reasonably comfortably. You can connect it to an app called “Huawei Wear” and that lets you keep track of steps and sleep.

Hardware/Look and Feel

The band looks pretty nice. At first, I wasn’t a big fan of the gold but after a while it grew on me. The leather is absolutely comfortable. It was never hard to find the right fit for my wrist. The metal attachment that touches your wrist is comfortable and form-fitting. Now, the actual bluetooth headset piece is made of a plastic mostly, leaving more to be desired in the quality section. But it never bothered me too much.

Because there isn’t much depth to the fitness tracker, there’s most likely not going to be any sort of lag or slowdown of any kind. So, with that being said, everything worked fast and I didn’t have any issues with slowdown or performance.

On the Talkband B2, I could easily get around 2 days of usage which is pretty good. I liked that because i didn’t have to charge the Talkband when i slept, allowing me to track my sleeping habits. Something that was a little annoying thought was the fact that you had to disconnect the earpiece of the Talkband to actually be able to charge it.

Final Thoughts

If you like to run or track your sleep and still like to have a Bluetooth ear piece, then this might be the watch for you. The watch does bring a nice style to everyday use without being too glamorous. With that in mind, it was a pleasant experience while I had the device.
