NVIDIA Updates The Tegra Note 7 To Android Lollipop

We’ve all undoubtedly heard of NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet. However that wasn’t the first attempt NVIDIA had at making hardware to show off their processors. Previously we saw the Tegra Note 7, a 7″ inch tablet that was designed to show off the non-gaming capabilities of NVIDIA’s processors. The device was released in November of 2013, but now it’s getting an update to the software, and it’s jumping all the way up to Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The update is rolling out in a OTA and it aims to bring performance and security improvements along with the new OS. It also features new Stylus features similar to those found on the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet. Do note however that some users are claiming battery issues after the update.
