According to Huawei themselves, the Huawei Watch is right around the corner from it’s official release. We still don’t know much about the release of the watch, or the official pricing, but today an online retailer called Honormi has listed the Huawei Watch for pre-order. The watch is priced at a premium $429 price tag which is the highest we’ve seen on an Android Wear watch to date. Keep in mind however that this may not be the official price as Huawei may offer it for less through their own website or other outlets.
The Huawei Watch was originally announced early in 2015, but has yet to see its official release. Many have speculated that this is due to issues with getting the watch to function correctly in China since it runs Android Wear which ties heavily into Google services. Since many Google services are blocked in China, it’s very possible that this is the case. Would you pick up the Huawei Watch at $429, or is that pushing it a little far for you?
