Lenovo PHAB Plus Announced – A 6.8″ Smartphone That Can Replace Your Tablet

At IFA 2015, Lenovo has announced a lot of products, but the one that has my attention most is the new PHAB Plus. This 6.8″ behemoth is a smartphone designed to act as a phone and tablet at once. With a sleek unibody metal build, minimal bezel, and low price, this looks like a very compelling device.

The PHAB Plus packs a massive 6.8″ 1080p IPS display with a ridiculous 75% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood this device has 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, a Snapdragon 615 processor, and 32GB of internal storage. There’s also Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and a massive 3,500 mAh battery inside. There’s also a 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP camera on the front. Starting at just a mere $299, this device sounds like a great option for those who love really, really big phones, but there’s one catch. This device won’t be available in North America. If the PHAB Plus is available in your region however, you’ll be able to get it in Gunmetal or Platinum color options.

Along with this Lenovo will also be offering a budget friendly PHAB which is a 7″ phablet. This device packs a Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM, Android Lollipop, and a 4,250 mAh battery. This model will also not be available in North America, but in other countries it will be available for $179 in black, white, red, and blue.
