The Nextbit Robin Will Come In A Verizon Compatible Edition – On Sale Tomorrow For $300
Early this month we heard about the Nextbit Robin, the latest Kickstarter phone. This new phone brings a unique design, powerful specs, and a new take on storage. The device has been going on Kickstarter for a couple weeks so far, and they’ve already surpassed, and doubled their $500,000 goal. At first the Robin was only going to be compatible with GSM networks, but thanks to overwhelming requests from the community, a model will be available with full Verizon support.
This new model will go on sale starting tomorrow for an introductory price of $299. That sale start tomorrow at 1pm EST, but the $300 price tag will only be available for the first 300 backers. If you want one after that, you’ll have to toss in an extra $50 ($349 total). It’s unknown what Verizon will do with the Nextbit Robin, but considering it will be sold unlocked, you should be able to use it by simply inserting your active SIM card. We’ll have to see where that goes when the Nextbit Robin comes to retail which is expected for February 2016.
