Our phones are fragile, and they need some extra protection, however on something as massive as the Nexus 6, you definitely don’t want all that added bulk. One easy solution is a bumper case. One I’ve been using frequently on my Nexus 6 is from a little-known company called Nillkin. While their brand isn’t famous, this bumper case certainly should be.
This bumper case is pretty simple in it’s design. It covers the edges of the phone with a small lip over the glass and a bit more on the back of the Nexus 6. Visually, the case looks great. It fits the phone perfectly and it’s really easy to install and remove. The back lips give a ton of grip and the buttons on the side are great. They lose a bit of tactility since they are covered, but they are easy to identify and not at all hard to push.
As far as protection goes, this case does a great job. I’ve been using it on my phone for quite a while and in the small handful of drops, the phone has survived. The case itself is also in nearly perfect condition. To keep your device protected, the case has a lip around the front which prevents the glass from touching a surface and larger lips on the back to keep that off of a surface.
Overall, this is a pretty solid case, but where it really shines is the price. This case is available for as little as $6.43 (at the time of writing). Combine that with an awesome dbrand or FireFlex Vinyl skin and you’ve got yourself an awesome setup on your Nexus 6. There are a few colors available including black (as pictured), blue, red, and orange.
