Unlimited Data Users On Verizon Should Expect A $20 Price Hike Next Month

If you’re one of the proud few who still have an unlimited data line on Verizon Wireless, you might want to plan to spend a bit more on it starting next month. Starting on next month, Verizon will impose a $20 price hike on unlimited data users bringing the price from $29.99 to $49.99. While that might not sound too bad for single users, a family of four would get an $80 increase in price. Verizon’s plan/hope here is to get unlimited data users to move over to Verizon’s new plans.

CNET reported that this price increase would appear on the next billing cycle, but Android Police has sources stating that it will begin on November 15th and the next billing cycle after that will reflect the change. While this is definitely going to anger some users, there is a bit of a silver lining. According to CNET, unlimited data users will gain access to Verizon’s month payment plans, something they previously could not use.
