Blackberry Priv Expected To Come In At A Price Of About $630

Recently, Chinese tipster @Leaksfly has posted on his Weibo page, the price that he has gathered the BlackBerry Priv will be sold for in China. According to his information, the first Android phone from Blackberry will cost 3999 CNY, which converts to about $630. Last week, BlackBerry CEO John Chen confirmed that the first Android handset from his company would be a high-end model, and would be priced accordingly.

The BlackBerry Priv is expected to have a 5.4-inch, with a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution screen. The Snapdragon 808 chipset will be at the centre of the device, carrying a hexa-core CPU and the Adreno 418 GPU. 3GB of RAM should be included in the phone. The 18MP rear-facing camera offers a high quality photo and OIS, while the front-facing selfie capturer will have a slightly lower quality than the rear-facing camera with 5MP. The phone has not yet officially be released, so at this point nothing is set in stone. The Blackberry Priv is expected to be released later this year.
