Earlier this year Verizon and LG introduced the LG Lancet. At the time it was a budget Windows Phone designed for Verizon’s prepaid network. Now in a rather interesting move, Verizon is relaunching the device with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on board instead of Windows Phone.
The LG Lancet packs a 4.5″ 854×480 display, Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM, and an 8MP rear camera. It also packs LG’s basic set of features atop Android 5.1.1 such as Knock On and QuickMemo+. There’s also a removable 2,100 mAh battery inside. Overall it should be a solid option for the budget space. At $5 a month it’s not too bad a deal either.
