Snapchat is now one of the most popular social media apps on the market right now, with it’s unique feature of photos only lasting for a short period of time and then being deleted. However it seems that this is now changing.
Just the other day, Snapchat changed the Terms and Conditions of the app. The app’s new Terms of Service state that Snapchat can host, store, use, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, edit, publish, create derivative works from, publicly perform, broadcast, distribute, syndicate, promote, exhibit, and publicly display that content in any form and in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed).
To sum it up, Snapchat’s new Terms of Service mean that it can now control all photos from it’s app and that they can use them for marketing and distribution for the app.
