Marshmallow Based CyanogenMod 13 Nightlies Are Available Now For Select Devices

Today Cyanogen has officially announced the launch of CM13 nightlies. CyanogenMod 13 builds are based in Android 6.0 Marshmallow and are available for download starting today. Keep in mind of course that these are early builds and there will be issues until the stable snapshot builds are released soon. For now, CM13 is limited to the following phones/tablets:

  • OnePlus One (bacon)
  • Nexus 7 2013 (Wifi – flo)
  • Nexus 7 2013 (LTE – deb)
  • LG G4 (h815)
  • Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (mondrianwifi)
  • LG GPad 7.0 (v400 & v410)
  • LG G3 Verizon (vs985)
  • Moto X 2014 (victara)

If you do plan on flashing these early builds, Cyanogen points out that you should update third party add-ons in the same pass if you plan to do a dirty flash (flashing without wiping the device). If you happen to be using an unofficial build of CM13, you should wipe your device entirely. CyanogenMod also recommends that anyone on the CM 12.1 YOG4P or CM 12.1 YOG7D releases forego the nightlies and stick with the Snapshot release channel.

The list of official supported CyanogenMod 13 devices should begin expanding over the coming weeks, but if you have one of these devices now, are you planning to flash? Let us know how it goes in the comments section below!
