There’s always a need for wireless speakers. They are portable, easy to use, and provide a great sound experience without being tied down. The problem is finding ones that sound good and don’t cost a fortune. That being said, I found one recently with a couple tricks up it’s sleeve and doesn’t exceed $40.00.
The Outdoor/Shower speaker by 1byone has proven to be a decent little speaker. As the name implies, it is IPX6 waterproof and can be used anywhere wet. It can also be used by any device with Bluetooth capabilities and lasts for a good 7 hours according to the manufacturer.
At first when I tried to use it, it sounded a bit low, but a quick look at the manual revealed that holding the “skip track” button with raise the volume, and that’s where the bass comes from. It packs a nice amount of bass and sounds pretty clear. The only problem I ran into was when the music wasn’t playing, there was a small buzzing noise coming from the speaker. I don’t know why that is, but just be aware that may be there.
The speaker is small enough to fit in your palm and has a good weight to it. The rubber padding around it comes in handy when you want to take it outdoors in a rugged environment. According to 1byone, it is shockproof. I’ve yet to throw it at anything to test that, though. It has a small rubber hook for putting an included clip on the top so you can strap it to your bag, or hang it in your shower somewhere.
Right now you can grab the 1byone Wireless Bluetooth speaker on Amazon for $35. To me, it seems worth it. Let us know what you think if you decide to grab one for yourself.
