NVIDIA Gives A Sneak Peak Of Marshmallow On The SHIELD Tablet K1, Arriving This Month

1 min read

NVIDIA announced their new SHIELD Tablet K1 last month with the promise that Android Marshmallow would follow close behind. Last night the company published a video on their YouTube channel on their website (seen below) which details what we can expect in this update. Along with Google’s additions (Doze, Google Now on Tap, App Permissions, etc), NVIDIA is updating their camera app to take better advantage of the tablet’s power.

In case you missed it, the SHIELD Tablet K1 brings the NVIDIA K1 processor, 2GB of RAM, and an 8″ display all for just $199, $100 less than the SHIELD Tablet that came before it. Marshmallow should begin rolling out to this tablet during the month of December, although exact dates are yet to be revealed.
