Huawei’s first jump into the wearable market, the Huawei Watch, has been widely regarded as one of the best Android Wear smartwatches on the market. Sources familiar with Huawei have told 9to5Google that the company is planning to launch variants of the Huawei Watch designed for women at CES 2016. Apparently these new variants will feature more feminine watch bands and also slightly modified watch cases that feature a slightly more round design. It’s unknown what pricing will be, but if this rumor comes true we’ll find out in just a couple of weeks at CES.
Those same sources also claim that Huawei is also hard at work on the second generation Huawei Watch which will release sometime in the second half of 2016. It’s unknown what Huawei would change in the updated model, but it’s expected that we’ll see a version with cellular capabilities. Along with that will likely bring a higher battery capacity and higher specifications like we saw in the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition before it was cancelled due to hardware issues.Source: 9to5Google
