Android Marshmallow Hits The LG G4 In The US Starting With Sprint

The LG G4 was the first non-Nexus device to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow albeit only in a couple regions. Now the update is finally making it’s way to the United States starting with the Sprint variant. The update is rolling out now and should be available for most users. The update lands with version number LS991ZV9 and brings Sprint’s global roaming feature.

Android Marshmallow of course brings features such as Google Now on Tap, Doze, and app permissions. LG’s update doesn’t change much in terms of the UI, but it should help out the G4 in terms of it’s battery life and LG has said it will fix some of the performance issues many users had on Lollipop. If you’re a G4 user on Sprint, let us know if you’ve gotten the update!
