Last week, OnePlus dropped on us that their newest device, the OnePlus X (OPX), will be available in a new color, Champagne Gold — apparently Gold is the new standard. Unfortunately for some, the color is only available in certain countries at the moment (Hong Kong and all of EU), but eventually it will be offered everywhere that the OPX is.
The Gold OnePlus X shares the same specs that its Onyx brother has, which include: 1080p 5” AMOLED display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GBs of RAM, 16GBs of storage that is expandable, and a 13/8MP camera combo. This whole package comes to you for only $250 and now on Tuesdays (which is today) you don’t even need an invite — unfortunately the rest of the week requires one. A quick note to keep in mind, OnePlus has delayed the once-per-week open sales to January here in the United States.
If you want to have one of the better mid-range/budget phones of the year and don’t want to be stuck with typical, boring black, then the Gold OnePlus X is definitely a must buy. I’d recommend waiting for a Tuesday though. Click the button below to be taken to the OnePlus X purchase page.
