HTC has today officially announced the HTC One X9 for the Chinese markets. This new device brings a 5.5″ display, all-metal body, and fairly respectable specifications. The display comes in with a 1920×1080 resolution and the device is powered by a MediaTek X10 octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM. There’s 32GB of storage inside which is expandable via a microSD card. The device has a 3,000 mAh battery for power and a 13MP rear camera. There’s also an Ultrapixel shooter on the front.
HTC has not mentioned what version of Android the One X9 will shoot with, although it’s likely that it’s Marshmallow considering the HTC One A9 used the same version out of the box. While we do know that this device is being launched in China only for now, we don’t know when as the company has yet to reveal a release date. One thing HTC has told us is the price, 2399 yuan ($370 USD).
