Samsung has recently announced their latest smartphone, the Galaxy A9. This 6-inch Android smartphone is designed for the Chinese market and brings a 1080p AMOLED panel, massive 4,000 mAh battery, and a thin 7.4mm profile. The front of the device includes 2.5D curved glass on the front.
Powering this device is the new Snapdragon 652 processor and 3GB of RAM as well as 32GB of internal storage (which is thankfully backed up by a microSD card). Android 5.1.1 will be loaded out of the box when the device launches. There’s also a 13MP camera with an f/1.9 aperture and an 8MP camera on the front. The device also support Samsung Pay and has a built-in fingerprint sensor.
Pricing on the Galaxy A9 is unknown right now however it will launch in China in the coming weeks. Samsung has stated that the device will launch in other markets later on, but for now there’s no information on where. It’s likely we’ll hear more after the device makes its debut in China.
