After a brief period of exclusivity in the Chinese market, Huawei has made the Mate 8 smartphone available in over 30 new countries starting very soon. While this “global” release won’t make it’s way out West, it will launch in areas such as Germany, France, Spain, Australia, and more. Huawei hasn’t given exact details on when this rollout will begin, but they have confirmed that this device will definitely not be going up for sale in the United States.
Huawei’s Mate 8 is a 6″ all-metal smartphone with the new Kirin 950 processor under the hood along with 3GB or 4GB of RAM, Android 6.0 Marshmallow (with EMUI), a 16MP Rear camera, and a massive 4,000 mAh battery. Huawei claims that the Mate 8 will get just about anyone two days of average use with a single charge, if not more. Pricing starts at 599 euros and the device is available in four colors, champagne gold, moonlight silver, space gray and mocha brown.
