This week at CES 2016, TYLT has unveiled their latest mobile accessories including updates to some of our favorite products such as the Vu wireless charger, the Energi backpack, and much more. The highlight of the refresh has been the abundance of USB C products including cables, battery packs, chargers, and much, much more. So let’s get into it!
TYLT Energi Charging Station
Announced late last year, TYLT’s Energi Charging station offers 5 USB charging ports to easily charge a family’s devices. The unique design is just subtle enough to blend into just about any environment, but still look great at the same time. The biggest highest is the addition of the removable 3,200 mAh battery which slides out of the charging station to bring with you on the go. The Energi Charging Station was on Indiegogo late last year with early backers already receiving units, but it will go on sale to everyone soon for $79.99.
TYLT Vu 2.0 Wireless Charger
After 3 long years, TYLT has finally updated their famous wireless charging solution, the Vu. This charger caught everyone’s eye for it’s unique design and easy to use 3-coil charging system. Now the company has updated not only the design of the charger, but also added fast wireless charging via the new 15W Qi wireless charging spec. The charger is also now fully adjustable from 0° to 90° to allow for even better use just about anywhere. This will go on sale later this year for $79.99.
TYLT Vu SOLO 2.0 Wireless Charger
To add a less expensive option to the market, TYLT has refreshed the Vu SOLO wireless charger. This one-coil charger also uses the new 15W wireless charging spec. Unlike the original Vu SOLO however, the 2.0 can now be used in either horizontal or vertical positions. The angle isn’t adjustable like on the Vu, but it’s certainly a change we’re glad to see. To make things even better, the Vu SOLO 2.0 now offers the ability to move the position of the charging coil to better suit your device, helping to guarantee an accurate alignment and a better charger. This product will release later this year for $49.99.
TYLT TURBO Portable Batteries
TYLT is also introducing a new collection of portable battery banks ranging in capacity from 5,200 mAh to a whopping 20,800 mAh. These batteries feature two full size USB ports, one with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, and also a USB C port which can safely charge a USB C product at 3A. The 20,800 mAh even includes a special charging dock which allows for charging via microUSB and USB C at the same time. These products will be available later this year with prices ranging from $29.99 to $89.99.
TYLT TURBO Smart Chargers
The new TURBO Smart Chargers also allow users to charge their USB C enabled laptops via the embedded battery or through the built-in wall adapter. There’s also a full size USB port with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, a USB C port, one full size USB port at 2.4A, and a built in microUSB or Lighting cable.
TYLT Energi Backpack 2.0
TYLT has also updated their Energi backpack with an all new design and double the battery capacity. The previously mentioned TURBO battery will be embedded in it’s 20,800 mAh variant. Pricing has yet to be announced for this product, but it will be available later this year.
Last but not least, TYLT has updated several of their cable, car chargers, and more with USB C on board. Pricing has also yet to be announced on these products but they will be available later this year.
