Xiaomi Redmi 3 Revealed With Solid Specs And $107 Price Tag
We’ve seen a lot of great budget devices over the past year, but Xiaomi might beat them all with their latest device, the Redmi 3. This new budget device costs just $107, but it offers specs that can be found on devices that are 5 times the price.
The Redmi 3 is going up for sale in China soon for RMB 699 ($107 USD) and packs a 5″ HD display, Octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and 13MP/5MP cameras. Perhaps the best part however is the battery capacity. At a whopping 4,100 mAh, this phone should easily last a day or two on a charge.
It’s unlikely this phone will ever see a true Western debut, but it’s likely it’ll be released in countries such as India at some point. Even if it’s never officially launched in the States, it’s very likely that getting one shipped here would still provide a great bang for your buck if you need a decent backup phone.
