Lenovo Unveils The $105 Lemon 3, A Pretty Solid Budget Phone

After the announcement of the Xiaomi Redmi 3 this week, we thought it would be a little while before someone would create a device with the same bang for your buck. Well, we were wrong. Lenovo has today announced the new Lemon 3, a $105 smartphone that actually looks pretty good. With a 5″, 1080p display, Snapdragon 616 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 13MP/5MP cameras, LTE, and a 2,750 mAh battery, this could be one heck of a device for the price tag. It runs Android Lollipop out of the box and is even available in silver and gold color variants.

Lenovo hasn’t revealed where the device will go on sale (at least outside of China) or when. Regardless this could be a great option for anyone living in a region where it will go on sale. Are you interested? Let us know in the comments!

  • This device will NOT be on sale in the USA according to my Lenovo rep which I spoke to about 1 1/2 hours ago. It’s going to be a China/Europe/Asia thing only.
