Pushbullet has been a hugely popular app in the technology world and this is for good reason. It offers arguably the best way for users to both send and receive text messages on their computer. The fine developers over at Pushbullet have also done something very admirable, actually kept the app updated by adding features and improving on existing ones. One of the newer features that was added to Pushbullet was the ability to take part in group text conversations right from your computer. Now the Pushbullet team is adding another great feature that many of their users have been asking for for a long while.
As the title of this article suggests, MMS support is finally coming to the service. This feature has been requested for a very long time by Pushbullet users and with a new update rolling out on Android, it’s finally arrived. This means that users will be able to send MMS messages from their computer as well as receive them there. The best part about this is that when you send an MMS image from your computer it will actually send as an image, not just a link to an image like many similar services do.
With the update rolling out today users will not only get MMS support, but they will get improved SMS reliability. This essentially means that sending and receiving SMS messages on your computer will work slightly better from here on out. Just less of a chance that your SMS messages will not go out or come in.
This update to Pushbullet is rolling out now on Android, Windows, and Chrome. If you wish to take advantage of the new MMS feature on your computer then you must have both the Android app and either the Chrome extension or desktop app updated, depending on which you use.
