Not too long ago, Apple released a new public beta of iOS, iOS 9.3. This update includes some nice additions and because of this many people who are not beta testers have been awaiting the stable release of 9.3. Apple did release a new stable version of iOS today, but unfortunately it’s not 9.3 like many were hoping for. Instead, this is iOS 9.2.1 which is just a smaller point release of 9.2.
Right now you can download and install iOS 9.2.1 via either iTunes or from your iPhone or iPad itself. It seems to just include some security and bug fixes, just as you’d expect from a small point release update. Also included in the update is a fix for an issue that was preventing some users from successfully installing apps. The update change log is as follows:
This update contains security updates and bug fixes including a fix for an issue that could prevent the completion of app installation when using an MDM server
