Just a few short weeks ahead of the official announcement of the Galaxy S7, Evan Blass, the man behind the infamous @evleaks Twitter account, has leaked out press renders of the S7 and S7 Edge+.
These two renders match up almost perfectly with previous leaks of the device but this is the first time we’ve seen actual images of what the device will look like.
Let’s of course address the obvious however, this is pretty much the exact same design we saw on last year’s Samsung Galaxy S6, just with a slightly modified home button and a rounded top and bottom bezel on the Edge variant. Evan also claims that the S7 family will have a curved back, not unlike what we saw on the Galaxy Note 5 this year.
The Galaxy S7 family is expected to include two variants at launch, the 5.1″ S7 as well as the larger S7 Edge which will have a 5.5″ display. Both of course will pack Quad-HD SuperAMOLED panels. Both are also expected to house larger batteries along with both fast charging (USB C) and wireless charging. Under the hood is expected to be the Samsung-manufactured Snapdragon 820 and also a 12MP rear camera with improved optics.
@evleaks has released more images of the S7 and S7 Edge showing the back of the device. These new images show the curved rear portion of the device
