Samsung’s Galaxy S7 is set for its official announcement on Sunday, but today yet another leak has come out, this time showing off the microSD card slot. The image above was obtained by Android Authority through an anonymous source who has had hands-on time with the S7.
According to that source, Samsung is planning to pack the S7 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, a 12MP rear camera, 2,800 mAh battery, microSD support, and water resistance. They also note that USB C will not make an appearance on this device, rather with microUSB hopefully for the last time.
The images also show a design which we’ve seen in previous leaks and renders and clearly it’s still just as much of a fingerprint magnet as the S6 was.
The video below also gives us our first look at the software on this device which looks very similar to that of the S6.
Overall these leaks confirm most of the leaks we’ve been seeing over the past two or three months and with the device being announced this weekend, it’s very likely that this is a final product. Stay tuned this weekend for our coverage on the device this weekend!
