Sony UK has revealed that the Android 6.0 update will start rolling out to Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z3+, as well as devices in the Xperia Z5 series beginning March 7. This news comes via Sony’s official UK based Twitter account.

The tweet does make it clear that the date of the update release is not set in stone at the moment. Also, given the fact that such updates from Sony have been off the mark in the past, at best we can say that the roll-out is only ‘likely’ to begin at the date from the above tweet. This update, at least for now, seems to be only for the UK, but the company could be planning a wider rollout as well.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has already started rolling out to Sony Xperia Z5 (and possibly its Compact and Premium variants, too) in Turkey, so it’s about time it started rolling out globally!
