The Gear S2 Classic Is Headed To AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon

Samsung has today announced that the 3G/4G connected Gear S2 Classic smartwatch is coming soon to AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless. Sales should begin as early at March 11th. Pricing on all three networks has yet to be announced, but we do know that they will be coming soon. T-Mobile is the only network that has announced a release date so far, March 11th.

With cellular connectivity, the Gear S2 Classic is capable of connecting to data for phone calls (over Bluetooth headphones or speakers, there is no embedded speaker on the device unless Samsung has added one) and also for notifications and apps. The SIM inside is embedded which allows it to function completely on its own.

If you’re interested in picking this up, stay tuned as we’ll be covering when the Gear S2 Classic hits each network.
