The Nextbit Robin, one of the few smartphones to make it from Kickstarter to market, is now available for purchase online. Priced at $399, this GSM unlocked device brings a very unique design along with solid specifications and some unique and useful software features.
Out of the box the Robin comes with a 5.2″ display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 13MP rear camera. It also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with a USB C port.
While the design alone is enough to grab attention, the Robin also packs software design to allow users to never truly run out of storage. By off-loading rarely used applications and photos to the cloud, users will almost never fill up their device’s storage and they don’t even have to think about it.
The Nextbit Robin is available for purchase direct from Nextbit for $399 and will ship within the next two weeks. The current GSM model works with AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless and more here in the US while a CDMA compatible model for Verizon is coming “soon”.
