If you’ve had your eye on a device from OnePlus, one small barrier can be the cost. While these phones are pretty inexpensive compared to other devices, not everyone can afford to drop a few hundred dollars all at once. To help out those customers, the company is now offers installment plans on any orders over $99.
These plans allow customers to pay off whatever they’ve ordered over the course of a few monthly payments. For example, if you order a OnePlus 2, you’ll pay $22.60 a month over the course of 18 months. If you opt for the smaller and less expensive OnePlus X, you’ll only pay $16.12 a month for the same period of time.
All you need to do to pay in installments is select PayPal Credit when completing your order. Thanks to the calculator function you can find on the checkout page, you’ll know exactly how much you’ll be expected to pay on a monthly basis. For instance, if you’re looking to make use of this new payment scheme to purchase a OnePlus 2, you could opt for the 18-month plan which starts at $22.60 a month, and the OnePlus X starts at $16.12. There’s no need to worry about any unwelcome surprises along the way.
Of course the option to pay full price is still available, however with this new option available, devices from OnePlus just got slightly easier to get your hands on, and there’s no invites at this point either. For now, this is limited to US customers only.Source: OnePlus
