Samsung Says Galaxy S7 Demand Was Higher Than Expected
According to Reuters, Samsung’s new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are off to a solid start in terms of sales. They report that Samsung’s mobile chief Dongjin Koh has recently said that pre-orders for both devices have been higher than the company had anticipated.
Tech giant Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has seen stronger-than-expected preorders for its new flagship Galaxy S7 smartphones launching this week, a senior company executive said on Thursday. Dong-jin Koh, president of Samsung’s handsets business, did not give a figure or disclose sales targets during a press briefing for the phones, which go on sale in South Korea and other markets on Friday.
Obviously he didn’t reveal exactly how good sales have been in terms of exact numbers, but it’s great to hear that these new devices are off to a solid start.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have been available for pre-order since late last month and will officially go on sale tomorrow in countries around the world. Interested in picking one up? Here’s where and how you’ll be able to do so.Source: Reuters
