The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition Is Now Up For Pre-Order At Verizon, But It’ll Cost You
After making its return from the dead earlier this week on AT&T, the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition is also now available through Verizon Wireless. This is the same watch when it comes down to it, but running atop Verizon’s LTE network. The watch is up for pre-order right now for either $499 off-contract, or $449 with a two-year service agreement. That’s certainly not cheap, but more interestingly it’s over $100 more expensive than the same device on AT&T. This could be due to the fact that AT&T’s service plan costs twice as much ($10 a month compared to $5), but still, that’s quite the price hike.
Thanks to the LTE connectivity within the watch, users will be able send and receive SMS messages on the watch, as well as place and receive calls through the speaker on the watch. Verizon will also offer $100 off the price of the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition with the purchase of the LG G5 or LG V10.
