If there’s one thing that will never fail to impress me, it’s the specs of cheap phones in the Chinese market. It seems like no matter what you do, these OEMs can pack specs you’d never expect in a phone of that price point. Xiaomi has done that time and time again, and now they’ve done it yet again with the Redmi 3 Pro, a 5″ device that packs a Snapdragon 616 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a fingerprint sensor for about $140. That’s it, just $140.
While those specs are great, they don’t complete the phone. So along with that you get 13MP and 5MP cameras and 32GB of storage. There’s also a giant 4,100 mAh battery and microSD support. Oh, and did I mention is had an all-metal body?
Silver, grey, and gold colors will be available starting April 6th in China for the Redmi 3 Pro. While this phone probably won’t land on US shores anytime soon, it will most likely end up on online retails such as Gearbest who are also offering other Xiaomi phones like the Redmi Note 3.
